Damn...what was I thinking. I am doing all this work bothering with a 'normal' lift....all I had to do was space the front hangers down a foot and throw some 12" shackles on there. *sigh*
Yeah I know you think its a hack job, but it looks like he uses plenty of gussets and breaking stuff shouldnt be a problem,but then again, its not my truck, and were not sure if he used heavy metel or sheetmetal/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif
ID RATHER DRIVE MY BROS HEEPJ7. there is no front to rear gussetting on the front spring hangar and the inside looks terrible ...sheesh

If it lost the frame lift and body lift some fender trimming it could be a nice truck I am just in to boggers much /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
heres one for ya. Why the hell does it have no front brakes??? and a suzuki samurai master cylinder??
Yeah, drum brakes up front and disks in the back. It would make for a fun mud bog truck, but wouldn't be my first choice for rock crawling or desert running.
it has no front brakes because mainly it is a bog truck, and uses the sammy m/c to send the fluid out of each port to the back brakes, each brake has its own line from the master cylinder
I see. I questioned the front brakes casue it shows it on the street, I can understand not needing them on the street though
If it is streetable, then where is the license plate on the back of the truck? I see something blue that looks like one. But it doesn't say anything.
Must not have a lift law in that state.
Cool looking truck though. But not my style too darn tall. Not capable enough for off roading(too top heavy), But cool none-the-less
Well for those of you who are knocking it cause it's not off road worthy, it's built for mud bogs, it's a completely different world then rock crawling, frame and body lifts are completely cool with them they aren't in it for the flex. just straight shots.
But overall I don't like it
Look's like the plate was "fuzzed" out so you can't read it. I like the paint job /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Did anyone notice how big the shackle ring is on the back? Damn /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif
DANG! Anyone notice that the dude still has the steering all on the drivers side?!!! He's got a driver's side drag link that makes my cross over draglink look short! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif I applaude their thoguht, but don't like how gaudy the truck is...

This truck wias built for mud, bogs. I bet it kiks some ass in the mud. And it is built nice for what it was designed for. Rocks, of course it wouldnt do good on rocks. It wasnt built for that!
How about all of you post your stuff so we rip it apart.

Maybe the shackles are a little excessive, but other than that, I dont see it being unsafe at all. There is plenty of bracing on it. I have talked over the phone about this truck. These guys know what they are doing. A good welding job is very stong.
This is a bog vehicle.
I dont rip into other peoples trucks. I give opinions when they are asked for.
the front does not seem to have any front to back bracing on the spring hangars , i have experience with soomthing similar and in my mind if would fold rearward if he was actually to hit something but that is just my opinion . i wasnt meaning to rip , i just think its a bad design other than looking somewhat silly . - Andy
