I have a lot of 30-40 foot lengths (maybe up to 100' lengths on the 4/0) of DLO (Diesel Locomotive Cable) with 2000 volt rated insulation. I have mostly 1/0 ond 4/0 sizes. This is finely stranded, very flexible rubber insulated cable. It's just the stuff the structural steel welders use on their BIG stick machines. If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to figure out a good price per foot. Otherwise, I'm taking it to the scrapyard. I may also be able to get some in 2 and 4 AWG sizes, good fo rcustom battery cables. Post up if you think you might be seriously interested.

That being said, i'd be interested in a 40' section or two of the 4/0 and maybe some 1/0.

I'm thinking 40' long 4/0 jumper cables...

What do you think that would weight? I think Leper's right about shipping.
 
This stuff is super flexible, and I could probably fit a nice long length in a flat rate shipping box, I'll see how much I might fit in one. Just checking interest for now.
 
If you are serious, weigh out a 40' piece of th 4/0 and check shipping to 75080. It is a business address. That will save some.
 
Don't joke about cables like that--I have a set of 2/0 40 footers that I sometimes use to jump a Cat in single digit temps, no voltage loss there.
That aside, I'm interested in 2 30' lenghts of 1/0.

What kind of price are you wanting on the 1/0? I am thinking about getting some so I can makeup cable for battery welding on the trail. I pass through the SF area on occasion so I can pick it up sometime if your willing to hold till I am in town next.

I would be interested in some, depending on price & shipping. Hopefully you can make it fit in a flat rate box!
 
I would be interested in some of the 40' 1/0 stuff too. If shipping to 80831 wouldnt kill it.:o

Allright fellas, Thast's a lotta interest! I have a certain amount of both 1/0 and 4/0 on hand and will get to each of you in the order you posted up. Gimme a month and a half and I'll see how much I really have. I hope I can hook all of you up.:waytogo:
 
I'm interested in 1/0 and 2 AWG. Like to know price and how much you can fit in a flat rate box:D
 
I've got you all written down with the lengths you've requested. I will TRY to accomodate everyone. I'm really busy at work right now, and am waiting until the end of the job I'm doing to start shipping out cable. I need to wait until I finish this job up to see how much I really have to offer. Pleeze be patient. I'll try and get it together in three or four weeks.
