Alright for a while now I've been having a little problem with chest pains. Last 2 instances I can think of it happening are, a week ago we went to the tractor pulls. Before we went in my buddy said he had to Smirnoff drinks that had to be killed since no alcohol was allowed in. So I volunteer, hey its alcohol. He and I chug these two and we go in. Half way to the gate my chest starts hurting. Not like heartbeat pain. Like erratic heartbeat pain. After a little bit it went away. I have this happen often when I drink those Smirnoff things. Then I drank at least a 6 pack of Coors Light another friend brought in, no problems. So anyway, the second recent was the other night out to eat. I had 3 cherry cokes with my dinner(made with maraschino cherries, damn thats so good). Anyway about the start of the third one, sure enough same pains in my chest. The two times I've noted this happening are, when I drink Smirnoff, and when I drink dark sodas. Some folks have said "caffeine", but I don't believe that for a second. I drink at least a half gallon of iced tea and a cappucinno a day. The idea that that caffeine wouldn't effect me but a coke would, just doesn't sound right. I'm thinking it has more to do with the sugar. Thoughts?
