I have a 78 Blazer. I already have a 14 bolt rear that I have rebuilt. I am looking to buy a 1 ton (Dana 60) front that is complete. Does anyone know where I can get an aftermarket 1 ton front from. Ive checked out Curries web site, but from what I could tell, they mainly deal with rear ends.
thanks,
Mike

Hey Mike,

With your permission, PM me your email. I will pass it along to Rios, the gentleman I bought my Dana 60 from. I paid $1299.00 for it, and it cost $325.00 to ship to Fort Hood, TX. He rebuilds them with:

New rotors
New hubs/studs
New wheel bearings and seals
New Brake pads
New Calipers (if necessary)
New Lockout Hubs (Warn)
Degreases
Paints Auto Black

I received mine and it was in excellent condition. My speed shop who re-did the gears said the job was done right. He specializes in Dana 60's. If you don't want to PM me, I can give you his email address. YOU need to let him know I referred you. You won't be dissappointed.

Thanks!

Manny

Here are a couple of pics of my D60 I got from him:

Most importantly,

Thank you for shining the light of Christ. I appreciate your commitment to him. It inspires me. Manny

I think I've found another one, need to get ahold of the guy and see what the deal is. I find them all the time, just don't have the money to get them....

if money is REALLY no object, try dynatrac, or boyce equipment.

x2. Ive been looking at getting a front 60 and called dynatrac for a quote. a pro series with all the standard options start at $4995.:eek1: boyce is a little cheaper though.
