I have the Dana60 front and did the b-52 install and used 52" springs less the overload so it's a 4 leaf spring pack. The bolts on the passenger side leaf perch are too long and was thinking of just cutting the bolt to length. Should that be ok?

Should be fine. Thread a nut on first before you cut it. Then when you remove the nut it will help clean the threads up.

you be fine . I have done a lot like this with no problems . as as you said chamfer the end to match like factory . as the hole is NOT square cut at the bottom .

Are you happy with the springs you have? Only downside I see is if you need to add a leaf back in.

I was debating to replace with studs but easier to cut bolt shorter and don't need to spend $$$.

I have never run studs in all my years on a dana 60 . but I am in the rust belt north east so stuff locks up tight with rust in no time.

Depending on how you use the rig you might want to add a 5th leaf. I had 5 leaf 52s and would break/bend almost every trip. I wheel by Braille though
