Chevy K5 vs GMC jimmy

Would seem to be a simple question but I can't get a straight answer. Is a 1979 GMC jimmy the same as a 1979 K5 Blazer?

Yep, one says GMC on the grill, the other says chevy.

Trim and paint differences, mechanically identical.

gmc was the upgraded comfort and trim package basically.all drivetrain was the same.

GMC get's the cool nod cuz they are much rarer than the Blazers... that coming from a Blazer owner...
