The answer is if you need it and it welds good (you better give it a try first) and thats all you can afford, yes.

yes i do need a welder, but i dont need some pos that will crap out on me when i need it.

I had one exactly like that for a couple of years. It was great to learn on. The wire feed motor finally went out and I bought a Lincoln. The CE 151 did a good job for the $$.

The old saying " you get what you pay for " will apply itself. I thought about a CE also,until I found out they are hard to find parts for ect... So I saved up for this. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=181853
