anyone ever heard of them?? just listened to 96 quite bitter endings...pretty good
werent they like jackass. I think I remeber watching cky videos.
With my perceptions in a mix
Down twenty miles through the sticks
To the cloudy town of Hellview: Population 96
Bunch of crazy skate punks that make some rockin' music!
no and yes... Bam Margera's Brother is in the BAND CKY(which this thread is about). Bam Margera and a lot of other guys from Jackass made a couple movies called CKY. Those movies were the basis for Jackass. Same stuff just a bit more out there and such that you couldn't see on TV. You hear CKY's music in the movie and blah blah blah, yep thats it.
And all that from good on PA... is that a good thing?
Yep Bams brother Jess Margera is in CKY (Camp Kill Yourself) and they are pretty kick ass
BIGBLAZE, I think you mean 96 Quite Bitter Beings. cKy has been one of my favorite bands for the past 4 years or more. They've become very mainstream since then. The reason Bam titled his movies that was to promote his brother's band.
hmmm..on my file share it says endings not beings....hmmm....they`re pretty kick a$$ tho
what are some good other songs by cky
"Flesh Into Gear", "Escape from Hellview", "Rio Bravo", "Disengage the Simulator"...I could go on and on. If you like what you hear, I would suggest buying all 4 of their albums, because there is not a single song that I dislike by them.
Volume I was the classic underground album that was under Volcom records originally until it began to get popular, then Island record company began publishing it in mass quantities. This album contains the ever-popular song "96 Quite Bitter Beings"
Volume II is hard to find. It's a two disc collection of prank calls and guitar solos, as well as some demo songs.
Infiltrate, Destroy, Rebuild is the album that really started getting cKy popular. It contains songs like "Flesh Into Gear" and "Shock & Terror".
An Answer Can Be Found is their latest album. It has a slightly different style music, but still just as awesome as the classic cKy. It contains songs like "Sniped" and "Familiar Realm".
You guys probably think I'm obsessed, but like I said, I've been following them for at least 4 years now, and know quite a bit about them. I still have yet to see them live though....Hopefully soon.
I heard about them a long time ago but they didn't really impress me.
