I'm not a republican, so I need some help understanding their (your?) position on this. Feel free to rip apart anything I say or assume, but please don't attack me personally...teach me, don't beat me down...thanks In generall it seems that the political right in this country feels that privatization (AKA market liberalization) is a GOOD thing, and government operation or oversight of anything is a BAD thing. Whether it be for health insurance, social secutiry, power companies etc. But how does public land fit into the rhetoric? I could easily see someone on the right seeing "publik" land as a communist-style program that should be sold off to the highest bidder immidietly...because market forces would correct everything, and we, as 4-wheelers, should pay for access to land held by private owners.
