Clocking tcase and keeping support brace

Okay, playing with Photoshop a little:

mine is a 4l80e. no inner/outer ring.

i just clocked it, redrilled the holes.... ill see how it holds up.

i took it out at least 4 times. gaskets, no gaskets, rtv, 'the right stuff', and even super weatherstrip adhesive.....

Yeah, I've been there with the first time I put it in.

black gasket material is the way to go from what I understand.

any particular reason no one re-drills the holes on the mount? i assume (know what that means) i'll find out.

Just thought that I would throw this in. I just clocked my 208 and I just moved the brace to a higher up bolt hole on the bell housing with no mods at all.

I thought I would update this. I had to take the tcase off the other day and noticed that not only had I moved the brace to a differant hole, I had also flipped the brace over. I ended up making a 1/2"-3/4" spacer because it didn't quite reach the bell housing.
