Sill holding at 30C/86F
Plays Doom3 at 1600x1200 High Quality very well
I want that case door, the window on my Antec isnt near as big as that...
I LOVE that case
Huge, easy to work in, remavable bays, plenty of power, LIGHT
My old comp has the same case, except in steel, not aluminum like my new one. Steel is a lot heavier.

You gonna cover all the powersupply wires ? It tooke me hours to disassemble the pins on some the connectores the blue expanding stuff wouldn't slip over
Whats the knob for in the bottom of the picture?
I don't follow what you mean
That knob controls how awesome my computer is. If it's turned down, it sucks, if it's turned all the way up, it can play Doom7 at 8000x6000 at 760FPS
It controls th CPU fan, the big red one
Almost the same case as mine-
Just picked up the fan controller a few days ago. You should check into one like it RJ. Sunbeam Rheobus. Controls 4 fans. Only like $25 on Ebay IIRC.
Anyways, nice rig dude.
Do you have 4 fans? What for?
Heat is bad for comps Staveo
I have a total of seven in mine
why don;t you jsut get a huge one, instead of 7?
I dunno Stave, why aren't all engines giant one cylinders instead of eight
I actually have 7 fans. 3 intake. 2 exhaust. 1 on the processor heatsink. And 1 in the power supply. At the moment the fan controller is only hooked to one fan- The CPU fan. It's sooooo load it was getting unbearable. When it's turned all the way up, it sounds just like a hair dryer inside my computer. Keeps my $800 processor nice and cool though.
(hijack) nice looking rig. Are there any good books for someone who half-assed knows what they're doing but couldn't put together a computer like that?(end of hijack)
It's easy as hell, just buy the parts and go
Get yourself a junker and dissasemble it
Motherboard manuals are pretty comprehensive
Okay I see I think. It's just to keep the inside of the case cool? And to get hot air out, cold air in? Hense the exhaust and intake fans?
Yes. One big fan would be dangerous. Who wants to have one large 12" fan on the side of a PC? I've seen it... and done it, but yeah. I have only 4 fans in my PC, I need more. 2 exhaust, 1 CPU, 1 GPU, no intake. Gets too hot in that thing. Need an intake in the front before I attempt puting the side cover back on.
There are plenty of articles on the net about how to build a PC. It's pretty much the same as building an engine, or any of the more involved projects we come accross while working on our trucks. As long as ya pay attention to detail, have some mechanical ability and refrain from stupidity, you'll be fine.
All of your fans should be exhaust fans.... no matter what... I don't care if you have a $8000 Alpha processor, there are vents in your case for a reason... they bring cool air in.... Fans should be used for removing hot air only.... Turn them around boys... you'll drop your internal temps be another few degrees...
