add one dually pickup bed, add one 89-91 Burb front grille, subtract some wheelbase and you'd be in business.
did they still make that body style in 90???looks like my dads 73.
Wonder what the GVW is on that? You don't think it's class B drivers license is needed do you? Class B is over 70 k right?
How long of a drop hitch would you need to hook a boat up to that sucker????
alredy has the hitch in the proper place for your socalled boat ;D
OOOOOH!!!!! Low blow......
They ran that body for just over 20 years. Swapped to the '88-'98 style body in the big trucks in '92, I think. I do believe '73 was also the first year of the square body in the big trucks, too.
as long as it doesn't have airbrakes you only need a choufers lisence..or you use it commercially.at least thats the way it is in Michigan..
Here, as long as it's got hydraulic brakes and you're not carrying 26k lbs, you don't need a CDL.
thak you sir..
pretty much the same here.
federal DOT says 10,001+ gvwr is commercial, and requires CDL. dont know if or how they enforce it, but thats what it says.
if that's the case, you need a CDL to drive some C/K30s...
well, i had read the federal motor carrier saftey handbook a while back, and it does say 10,001+ gvwr is considered commercial vehicle (section 390.5), but i just checked again, and i guess i missed the part that says, "used on a highway in interstate commerce".
I want the front clip if you swap over another front clip, hell I will trade you front clips, wait I might need mine If I screww up!
I do want that front clip.
i've always wanted to cannabalize one of those for its roof. something about the small back window in a light duty truck. went to Lima in '06 and met up with a friend of a friend who had a C60 cab on his K20, and it looked every bit as sweet as i pictured it.
yeah i would love to drop that cab and front clip on a 4x rig would look awsome!
