Cool picture from today

So what are you control arms made of that they can take the bending stress of having the shocks/springs mounted almost in the middle of them? He must have a lot of travel with them mounted that way I bet, the arm bracing just doesn't look very tall for the shock location.

Is the rear pumpkin off center since the front one is centered? I can't tell from the pics.

Not really control arms, just standard 4 link with the shocks mounted on the links. Lower links are made from 2 1/2x3/8 wall 4130 chromo dom. They are getting heat treated as well. The shock towers on the frame and the mounts on the links are also made of 4130- 1/8 plate sandwiched together, boxed and tig welded. Rear diff is off set, front is centered. 21" of travel in the back, 19" (IIRC) in the front.

I would think that would do it then with the braces, I was thinking it looked smaller. That side picture of the shock setup is top fuel, looks killer.
