So I guess being a Rapper is a bad thing right now too....
you know, spittin' lyrics n' all !!
Better watch it. He was trying to make arrangements for me to sit in his lap a few weeks ago.
You're special though. I was gonna read to you. Don't be a dirty perv!
Coronavirus: N.J. man charged with terroristic threats for allegedly coughing on Wegmans worker
Man Arrested for Coughing at Front Desk Staff of Chicago Police Station – NBC Chicago
Hope I don't sneeze when I'm in the pharmacy picking up my prescriptions or at the supermarket to pay my electric bill later on !.
these people need SEVERE punishment
Unfortunately this is old news. The pranks started two months ago...
We had a guy at the other power plant near here that called in sick and jokingly mentioned coronavirus. He got 2 days off unpaid for it. It was a huge deal.
Sounds like management has a cob shoved up their ass. Take a joke eh?
The graph you really want to see is cases per capita or even better, cases per hospital beds. I don't see that published much. Those show the US is in ok shape, and Italy, as we all know, in really bad shape. Italy having almost same number cases as China now, but waaaaaay less total population, which is gonna make the problem, much much worse and is there. . The US is spread out and alot more rural areas. Not to say they can't get it, but, at 42people/sqmi where I'm at versus 10's of thousands/sqmi in say NYC. I'm happy I got acreage to go out and roam and watch wildlife and shoot turkeys if I need too.
Trouble is a lot of NY residents are fleeing the state, heading to Florida or other states with lower rates ,and they'll spread the virus to those areas..its evident there are a lot more "carriers" testing positive with no symptoms, than those actually sick with the virus..
Supposedly airlines are still having flights from NY to FL,but when you get to FL,your met by National Guard soldiers and told to "self quarrantine" for 14 days...yeah,everyone will do that..right..
It'll be pretty hard to stop every vehicle on Rt.95 and ask the occupants where are you from, where are you headed ,too..
2 guys at work got into a fight last week. One is germophobic, the other kept touching him and his stuff, and coughing on him. 1st guy had enough and knocks the shit out of 2nd guy, both hauled out in cuffs.
Military installations have a ZERO tolerance policy on violence and bullying these days. 2nd guy is most likely history, I'm afraid 1st guy may be as well. At best receive a 2 week unpaid vaca. I've had 2 back in the day.
They should add a column to those charts for "job deaths".
Wonder how many folks will become full blown germophobe after this
This is the scary part is we do not have enough negative pressure rooms. We started out with 42 rooms, we are now 2 patients per room. We are running out of rooms in a hurry.
Did anybody buy in @ 18500 DOW/ 2290 S&P?
My advisor rebalanced some 2 weeks ago, and another 15% Monday afternoon....not even sure what that means...lol
Thats why “I got a guy”
I look at my bottom line....biggest loss was down 14%...now realize Im retired so Im in a safer conservative investment strategy. At this point Ill be happy to get back to my initial pre crash balance.
The last 3 years have been very good to me, so considering Ive been living off my retirement for 18 months without having a drop in balance (even a slight gain) has been awesome overall.
I wish that I would have taken money out of savings to buy something..
It went up quickly, in my opinion.
Dude, its an unprecedented growth this week! Catching that low late last week would have been awesome. I was thinking even getting in Monday afternoon was going to show a loss the next couple days.....I guess if it was easy, we’d all be rollin in it! These factors affecting the markets, the Fed buying in and trillions pumped into the market, the actions being taken by the govt to help the little guy and small business looks good if only to the investors buying back in right now.
Markets are averaging up 20% from the lows today...
Here's some data I pulled together from various sources, since we don't seem to have this from our illustrious journalists. Cases per 1million people. As of 25Mar2020
And comparing countries, I found some ICU bed info by country (ICU beds have ventilators) and put it against cases
UNITED STATES 0.48 Cases/ICU Bed and assuming 20% need hospitalized 0.096 cases/ICU Bed
ITALY 9.84 cases/ICU Bed and assuming 20% need hospitalized 1.96/cases ICU bed.
Now of course there are hot spots in certain states and within those states but I don't have info for ICU beds/state. But by any stretch, italy is overwhelmed which the data supports.
