lucky focker! wish I could have some crawfish and beer. I think I'm going to have a beer when I get home in the morning from work.
My best friend in the USAF was from Pollock. They used to shut down main street and have a mudbug festival every year back then.

i cought a crawfish today... along with my bass
did you eat them all?howd you cook them?details man.. i'm gonna buy a bag this weekend potatos and corn and maybe some tiger shrimp(on the side)
if your asking me, No I didn't eat them, the crawfish was med/small, and the bass was a 1 1/2 to 2 lb bass, but the little park's pond that i cought them in was so dirty i wouldn't eat anyting there. I let them both go. The crawfish was in a filter hole along the edge of the pond
where did you get them from? last 2 times from la boilers on oneal lane were bad. but now you have me wantin some.
That is where I got them, had people here already and I was feeling lazy so I just got them boiled and they were very good.
I usually boil them, about 30lbs at a time. Bring the water to a boil with the crab boil and spice, throw them in, bring it back to a boil for about 8 mins, turn off the fire, put on th lid and let them soak for 8-10 mins. Serve with ice cold beer.
the last couples of times i got them more than have the batch tasted smokey or almost burn tasting. just in the tails though.
