Suburban with Crewcab body and bed shortened to fit it. That is what I wanted to do to my V20 Burb.

I like it. I think it would look better if the front of the rear fender wells/opening were completely gone. Doesn't look like there is enough room. Maybe slide the axle back abit.

After looking at the other photos it looks like it was just the angle of the one photo. :)

looks nice, but i agree rear axle looks like it needs to be moved back a couple inches

It does look pretty. I would imagine it's alot easier to hack off the front of the bed than off the rear. That's why the rear axel isn't furthur back.

WOW.. that is what im going to do!!!!! im actually starting to look into this now.. my summer project will be a crew cab on my frame.... need to do this as myself, wife and son fit in the truck now.. but in july when we have our second child.... we all wont fit...

I must say after seeing that I much rather the look of a stock short box on the back. If I wanted a good 4x4 I think I would bob the bed at the back for a decent departure angle ... that one looks a little goofy to me IMHO

im going to do the same but build a tube bed.the chassis i am going to use is a dually.want to run 6 36" super swampers.

to each their own, I'd love to build one with a 6.0L Gen III gasser and a 5 speed for a tow rig.

Theres a guy by where my parents live, he owns a body shop, thats what his crew cab looks nice, super clean too.

Is it me or is the tire closer to the front on the drivers side and futher back on the passengers side? It looks like the front of the bed is cut diferent :dunno: :dunno:

that looks kinda like mine only i haven't painted mine yet. its an 88 v3500 from the military, and the wheelbase is 4 inches longer than a regular longbed. I've got a 6.2 with a 6.5 turbo setup on it. that one looks a little funny, but I like mine sittin on 35's.
