I would try to raise up the B pillar end of that lower door bar to get the tube that ties in just above the floor. Like this.
Then put the tube in the B pillar hoop just like you have it.
That is going to be a good strong cage while saving some weight. You can do just as you drew with the red and purple lines in the B pillar but I think it is just adding weight. The strength gains are there but will be minimal and unneeded.
