What is it with all the stuff about neighbors being scared or pissed off because a rig is painted camo...anyone care to explain this one to me?
Assuming the site of a vehicle simply sitting in your driveway isn't enough to annoy your neighbors...

...also assuming a lifted, knobby tired 4x4 isn't enough to annoy your neighbors...

...I've found that more people associate camo trucks with the white trash association of the word "redneck" than with the military...as strange as it could be. Actually had a guy ask me why I painted my truck camo a while back. Pointed out that it was an actual military vehicle and he still didn't seem to grasp why it looked like it belonged on a military base.:doah:

yeah thats how it is around here too.

oh well the neighbors around here probably already hate muddybuddy and me. at first when we had k5's, we both use to run around with no exhuast on at all. now my diesel is pretty loud, and james old diesel use to have like cherrybombs on it.

Big Ugly is about to get a set of Cherry Bombs actually. Good thing it isn't my regular wheels.:D

Our next place will definately be somewhere that there aren't any local ordinances about what you can or can't have in your yard. I don't want vehicles on blocks in my yard but technically I can't even have Big Ugly where it is right now. Luckily no one enforces that local ordinance. The guy down the road has had three Dodge M37 army trucks in various states of repair sitting around, along with other olive drab dohickies, and the guy across the street from me has his Bronco II plow, a Jeep YJ, an old tractor, and two or three of his business's vans would probably get "abandoned vehicles" citations if they were parked on city streets. Then there's the people to the west of me who have a travel trailer on blocks...

ANYWAYS...

its ok, i found a lead on a truck, im checking it out this weekend. for highway 4.56s are going to be much better. i sold the 5.13 axles for $3k, and the new truck costs $3k so its perfect? ;) highway rpms with 4.56 and overdrive will be at 1850, which is best mpg for the 6.2.

Yep, those are the magic numbers for a Diesel!:D
