God that looks good. I never understood why so many aftermarket bumpers try to look like jay Leno. Low profile and sexy with good clearance is what I'm talking about.

Lol great reference :haha:

Looks killer Kert!

Is it going to go from custom to standard product??

Thanks guys!

It's possible that this may end up as a production piece. Might have to iron out a few bugs first.

Real nice, put me on a list to contact when you work out costs. Most certainly would be interested. I love the fact that I can stand on it. Let's face it, we need to get under the hood and sometimes there is no stand around when you are in the middle of the woods.

as far as plate bumpers go, sweet lines bud.. very nice, sleek... :waytogo:

but I will be the constructive criticism one here and pick out 2 very minor things that would improve it IMO..

#1 would be to smooth that top flat weld... the inner 90 one is fine, but the top serves no aesthetic purpose...

and even more minor is all the angles have nice rounded corners, except the outer ones on top.. they should be rounded like the ones below it..

that out of the way, I'd probably be interested in one of these for the front of Mutt.. ;)

I'll post some pics when I get it installed. :pimp:

We'll be working on a rear one to match the style.

This is my first winch install, will I be needing another part to mount the fairlead? I see they sell stamped steel things that just sandwich between the winch and the bumper.

There is actually a really good reason the top weld is not ground down smooth. The center is 1/4" thick and the wings are 7 ga. Since the two meet right there you see that small difference in heights but trying to flap that out and get a good clean transition is really a waste of time and all you'd be doing is removing thickness. Sometimes best to leave well enough alone.

All corners are rounded. The lighting doesn't show it the best but they all have the sharp corners broke off and radiused. I can't stand a sharp corner.

Uhhhhmmmmm. Just a sec, I need to wipe up the drool before I slip!
