Who has them? Who has first hand experience with both? Is it worth spending the extra $$ on the custom springs? How long did it take to get them after ordering? What is the ordering process?

I was all set to order up some BDS springs then decided I'd do some research on the custom springs. Cost isn't really an issue, but I don't want to just be paying for a name.

Whoa....:eek1:

I didn't even realize I did that. I even thought I made sure I clicked Garage. haha!! :haha:

I would love to have Deavers. Heard nothing but good about them over the years. I just cheaped out and bought BDS from guys on here.............

For crawling, I don't know because all the good reviews have been from the desert scene............

I'm lookin at some 8" front springs and 4" rears (w/ shackle flip) for the V30 dually. Not really a wheeler. A daily drivable, pavement pounding curb crawler for the most part. Ride quality and handling is most important. How much are these things running? $600 a pair? More?

You will get more flex and a smoother ride out of custom leaf spring. They make them to your vehicle weight. Nobody running custom springs that I know of has ever said a regular over the counter leafs have riden better then a custom pack. Everyone who has them and who has experience with both says a custom packs is the way to go. I'm going to run custom springs when my K5 is done.........someday :D.
