There was alot of drinking before that little modification... that was done at about 3am. It is not on there anymore...It actually did look pretty bad ass when it was done... kinda Mad Max'ish... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Now it looks like this.

NICE! Regretably there will now have to be a look-a-like of that purty yellow beast on the road, the lil lady saw the pic and said if i didn't make the blazer look like that she'd never ride in it again! /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif ...help me out, should I roll it once or twice? /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Nice daytime running lights. I didnt know that was an option in 1979. But did you get the heated leather seats also??

Yeah, the headlight switch wen't bad or something, so the lights are just hot wired so that they are on anytime the truck is running... sweet.

After seeing yours I went out and cut mine. I'd been planning on doing it for a while though, just wasn't sure how it'd look.

I was gonna taper them like yours but its just too much work with an angle grinder /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif

looks like mine is right in between blueblaze and bowtie. But mine is from a CUCV and has the tow shackle mounts(i only have one shackle though).

How do you guys keep the trees off your fenders? The chrome on mine is wearing off from all the tree use... matches all the sap on my front fenders quite well. I don't think I'd have any fenders left if I cut my bumpers. But it does look good.

Take a look at mine again... you can clearly see that I don't keep my fenders off the trees! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
