SO I was wondering how much spline engagement I should have on my front drive shaft. With the front compressed as much as i can get in my garage if I add 3.5" to my d-shaft it gives me just under an inch left of compression on the d-shaft before it bottoms out. At this same 3.5" added at full droop(frame supported and axle free hanging with my wife standing on the pass side rotor) it leaves me with about 1.25-1.5" of spline engagement. will this be enough? It is just a temporary fix to get the blazer 4wd again after the 52" spring swap.
