My front gm d60 has been apart for a while and I cant remember. Does the screw in the retaining screw in the caliper go on the top or bottom? The groove on the spindle does it go up or down? right know both are pointing down. I thrwe away my bag that had the sides designated.:doah:
Thanks

screw hold hole goes down .

then caliper up in top grove.

then spring with bow up on wedge.

then install spring/wedge in lower slide area.

slide in till flush both sides and line up screw and be done.

Thanks, Thats what I needed.
I kept both sides seperated during cleaning and paint.

The position of the groove on the spindle is uncontrollable, it's dictated by the offset bolt pattern. I've had a few 60's and they are seldom in the same place.
