Will keep it short: 87 Jimmy currently on 10bolts under the knife today...

Rear: d70 hd,diy kert spring perch,ord 2 1/2 flip,4" lift spring,6"shackle.

Front: d60,tc6" lift spring,...should I use the zero rate in the front or not? I bought it for the exra lift and to move the axle forward, but some friends said not to..will be to high in front..I dont want saggy butt.

I know I can always change it later but trying to save time before I go back to work. I am leaning on not using the zero rate, but I need some input from d70hd users... I was figuring 1" more lift using it...would it be more?

I would use it, I have a very similar set up and mine is off by about 2" front to rear.

My front = D60 w/ 2.5" lift 52" springs up front (= 6.5" lift) with the overload removed. The front is about 6" lift based on comparing measurements with other CK5er's.

My rear = D70HD w/ stock perches, 2.5" flip, Zero Rate 4" springs (56" long) and a stock shackle.

When I measured the truck last (without trans/dblr) I was a little over 2" diff front to rear. My plans now are to reinstall the overloads plus a Zero Rate in the front to level it.
