Ok on the trailer hitch do you guys grease your balls or run them dry??
Man I thought I was going to have to get midevil on yourl on your butt when I saw the title ! LOL
I use this grease stick I found at a camp ground. It's like a soft wax and it stays put. It's actually a spicific for it's use. I haven't seen any of it recently.

I'd prefer to keep that information to myself thank you very much!!! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
On the camper we used to have, my dad put grease up in the coupler on the trailer tongue. Of course some transferred to the ball, but it's better than just slopping grease on the ball.
What would the benifets be by greasing your balls?
possible longer coupler life?
last i checked, the balls are much happier when the tongue is wet

when i tow with my rig, for short trips i just hookup. for longer trips, grease it. after 500 miles, all that twisting and turning on an unlubricated surface will pull the ball off the nut, making it useless. and you run the risk of completley coming apart. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif i learned this last summer going to N. dakota for work. insurance co. isn't real nice about this. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
