You can't buy sudafed with pseudoephedrine in it any more. Well, you can but you have to have your ID taken and entered into a log book. I ran all over town trying to find some sudafed for the pregnant wife (pseudoephedrine and tylenol are about the only two things you can take for a cold when pregnant or nursing). Since pseudoephedrine is the main ingedient in meth, the goverment (as of July 1 2006) requires you to not buy more than three packages in a 24 hour period, and records your info into a log book. Keep the goods behind the counter too. But, like usual, the system is ripe for abuse. Logs are paper, and probably collected or mailed from pharmacies. So you've got plenty of time to gather the ingedients (probably a month or more before they figure you out) and get back to the trailer park. Pretty soon I imagine that it will be prescription only. Thank you for standing by. Back to your regularly scheduled program.
