Hmm, ok, I'm working on taking apart one of the knuckles off my GM 60 front and everything is off but the lower king pin stuff. According to all 3 of my diagrams you just pull the 4 bolts off and the king pin plate thing comes off. Well, I pulled the 4 bolts and have banged on, cussed at, air hammered, air chiseled, etc and it won't budge... I'm actually gouging into the plate with the air chisel... Whats up?

They are tight as he!!. I find that if you take your hammer and hit the side so that it twists slightly then you have two surfaces that are caddy corner to one another. You can then use a brass punch to work it down side to side. If they have rust in them they are a beatch to get out.

Cool man, I'll head back down and try some more /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
