Is the caliper bracket the same on drw and srw Dana 60? I have drw and was wanting to do a 3/4 ton brake swap and get ride of the old Dana 60 calipers. I could order the brackets and see if they are the same but wanted to see if anyone knew. I want to keep the drw for the stance.

You might have issues with the 3/4 ton rotors on a DRW D60. The stud holes in the DRW rotor are slightly smaller than on an SRW because they center on bolts, not the knurled stud shoulders. The holes in the 3/4 ton rotor may be bigger than the D60 bolts which could make centering the rotor difficult.

I’m now wondering if it’s worth trying to convert I was thinking the 3/4 or 1/2 calipers were a better design than the Dana 60 but they seem to be about the same.

The 3/4 ton brakes are smaller, really the only reason to swap is if you're missing the brackets (not available new) or to run 15's (don't). The GM Dana 60 brakes are way better than the 3/4 ton stuff.
