Are dana 60s from a dodge interchangeable with a chevy??
No,they are close but the spring perches are farther apart than a GM 60 and they really can't be moved especially on the passenger side.
But another option to what Titanic said.....
If you could get the Dodge D60 really cheap, then you could take it somewhere and have it cut and new tubes and ends put on to make it just like the GM unit. If you did that and could get the Dodge unit cheap enough you may have a total cost about the same if not cheaper than a GM unit.

I was just asking cuz I went to a forestry surplus auction they had a lot of dodge trucks there and some sold real cheap all had dana 60s on em.
I remember seeing David Freiburger's ramcharger (4Wheel and Offroad mag) with a chevy dana 60 front. They mentioned the width difference and they just forced the springs on. I wouldn't do it, but I did measure a front Dodge 60 once and it was about 1/2" different than a chevy.
If your looking for a cheap dana 60 I have a friend who has
a 4.10 chevy front 60 that is mostly complete for $750 or
$800 Let me know and I can give you his name and number.
