how much for the tranny if you do end up parting it?
I just bought a rebuilt 0 miles TH400 short shaft from Jeremy and could sell you that one for the same price
Otherwise if I do part out the truck probably ask $75 for the TH400. It leaks a little around the pan gasket and I don't really know the actual mileage on it. Works good now though.
i'm gonna need one for the dually i'm getting. I don't know if its short shaft or not

Most trucks are probably not going to have a short shaft originally. But with it being rebuilt it would be worth the extra expense to extend a driveshaft to fit the shorter output.
The tranny in the burb would most likely be a direct fit though.
how much of a length difference are the short shaft and long shaft? If i do for sure get that dually(99.9% sure i will), i would probably want the rebuilt one
I'd guess 3-5" at the most, but I don't have an exact measurement. Might be able to get an answer to that by posting in the garage.
i believe it is 4 inch difference the one i have is a short shaft. i may be selling it soon if you are interested eater. it is also a k case just to let you know.
oh and ps kenny you suck. i still dont have enough cash or i would take the whole thing off your hands.
