You obviously have too much spare time.
I'm really into all this stuff from a laymans point of view.I've read all of steven Hawkins books (slightly different subject) and, although I understand most of it(kind of...)...it's one of those things you could never 'forward' to anyone else. It's just too damn deep!
When someone explains something impossible with a massive mathamatical equation to prove that it's possible....you have to believe him as you know no different, even though it may be just him who understands what the heck he's on about. And of course, as most of it is theoretical...there is no way of dis-proving it! cool!!
It really bends my mind sometimes but I love it!
And while were on the subject of mathamatical theorem.....when does a pond become a lake?
Holy sh!t !! those equations are horrid
Cool link RJ.
I don't get it, but entered some other subjects into the search engine. It's filled with endless information...
Have you read the Dan Brown book "Angles And Demons"? It touches on the anit-matter subject. Interesting stuff.
Cool link btw.
I'll look into it, thanks.
The whole thing started by reading this -
Which is very interesting but lead me to value it's concepts as novel material
On a side note, when you factor science down to nothing, and get to the impossible questions, I can understand why religion comforts some
Imagine absolute nothing
By all theories there will be an end of some sort, and on this scale, time and distance become meaningless
We define our lives by measurements and feeling. Imagine losing the former.
...and that which has has an end should have a beginning...
I need to aquire some Arthur C Clark novels immediately
Seeing as there are one hundred or more novels, screw that noise
As I always say "Improvisation Is Your Only Salvation"
You need to take your azz over to Amazon and get that Dan Brown book. Same guy that wrote "The Da Vinci Code". Angles And Demons is a similar type story as The Da Vinci Code. Tells a story about possibly debunking Catholicism. Very very interesting. In fact, the intire plot of A&D is centered around anti-matter. Check it out.
Don't talk about my azz though
I need you and some other people I know better than most on CK5 to start harrassing me to write
I just read that entire link you posted....Thats good ****.
