I would consider paying $100 for a $150 product a pretty good deal...

I'll give you $50.00 shipped and take that hideous thing off your hands. :haha:

Seriously, that's a good deal as long as it works. I have yet to buy a tach for my rig, been wanting to buy one for a long time now but i always find something else to spend the $100.00 on that would serve a better purpose.

neither gauge works behind it anyhow ,the fuel or speedo, so i just left it there. only bad thing i found about it so far is that i keep turning the thing up between shift points to see that pretty light come on :doah: :haha:

Do you have aftermarket gauges in hte stock cluster? my oil is taking a dump on me and i want to run a mech one...any tips?

yeah they're aftermarket gauges but none work. i have to use the ones where my e-brake release is til i get around to putting em where the stock location is. as for the mechanical all i did was take out the part where the wire goes to out of the block and used the pieces gave to me with the new gauge and screwed it right in. it has some brass couplers that go on the tube to keep it from leaking when you tighten it up

Consider using a 2" gauge and doing a little mod work to the gauge cover. On the 1st gens it works great to chase the old hole with a hole saw. Turns out pretty slick
