Any of you coal rollers got some spare upper radiator brackets for the large 6.2 diesel/big block gas radiators?

I'm in need and my local hookup didn't pan out.

I just bought them from LMC for $20 if you don't have any luck otherwise. I didn't have any luck in the local yards.

I'm looking at LMC now and they don't list any for the 6.2/454 variety. Checked the truck and blazer/suburban catalogs and it shows the same stuff.

Now that I say that the part called out as #11 in the truck catalog page 175 looks right but it lists for 305/350. Price is Right but just not sure.

Hmmm, interesting. I see what you mean. I guess I'll be finding out. That is if I can ever get an undamaged radiator.

I just knew from my k5 that the bracket looked like that part #11 so that's why I ordered it. Now I'm curious about that grayed out bracket on that page. It looks like it might have a bit more rise. If that's all, I can make a spacer.

Just saw this on a local parts page, I don't know he guy.

Dang I thought I had a set but looks like I have two for the same side....I have no idea what the bottom set came off of :dunno: Possibly pre 80 model

The top pair is what my LMC set looks like. What's the difference between the top set and the middle set? Aside from the overall width.

Hopefully they'll work since I'm not using an actual diesel radiator.

I believe the top pair came off a 350, and the middle came off of the bigger radiators. But yes the length is different. I don't know if you could use two of the left handed sides, looks like the rubber grommet fits in the middle.

So the inlet/outlet tanks of a diesel radiator are nearly an 1" wider (or deeper) than the 350 radiators so it looks like the diesel brackets are the only ones that will work.

if @ZooMad75 isn't interested, I would take the 2 diesel radiator brackets off your hands.

Let me know what you want for the middle brackets, two left is better than none.

Let me keep looking in the garage maybe I'll find the other two brackets

Yeah I think you can make 2 lefts work. It looks like the recess for the rubber pad is centered between the bolts so the should work on either side. Only problem may be bolting the shroud on.

Alright. Turns out what I have are GMT400 brackets, not square body brackets. They will fit the radiator but aren't a direct fit for the core support (taller arch). Let me know what you think. I do have 4 upper and two lower mounts.
