Diverter Valve hose

if it was anything like my old Monte Carlo, there were hoses that go to the side of the air filter area, one on each of the tubes to each side of the exhaust manifolds, and one down to the Cat to inject clean air to "supposedly" help ignite any unburnt fuel, personally I believe all it was doing was dilluting the exhaust gasses making it SEEM cleaner...

and the pumped air gets diveted to whatever hose for whatever situation the engine is being driven at, different throttle positions and such...

Crappy design if you ask me..

although I don't think the trucks had the ones that feed the Cat fresh air, just the air cleaner and possible exhaust manifold ports.

I can only help with my 85.

diverter has three big lines, one small
one for each header and one to the front of the air cleaner, the air cleaner line is the biggest of the three.
it also has a small plastic line going to a valve mounted to the alternator bracket
that valve gets vacuum from the carb, ported
