Diy roll on bedliner! Lets post pics!

Where can you buy this rubber crumb stuff? I have the walmart stuff and i def. will want more grip :weapon42:

No idea. That place sends it with the kit....

you could always mix some sand in your bedliner :dunno::haha:

I did the front seating area with Herculiner. Have not done the cargo area yet. I mounted some 6x9s in a set of speaker boxes from a store and attached them to the inner bedside with "L" brackets and self tappers. No pics of speakers.

You can see in mine: I used monstaliner and it came out pretty good, I think. It also uses a catalyst/reducer. Pics are in my build thread and attached to my profile.

the finished product pics look so nice and clean, wondering how that holds up to foot rubbings on a daily basis. im thinking about doing this rather than buying a new black carpet

Are you guys getting any heat through the floor? Mine cooked my feet with a bare floor. I installed an LMC map with insulation. Was much better. And I still hose it out.

I can tell you that with the Herc it wore through in one spot, right where my heel sits and pivots from gas to brake. Everywhere else is good though.

If you dont wanna make a mess just roll it. I just like how much better the sprayed on looks. But it will get overspray on anything you dont cover up.

Im still picking chunks off the inside of my windshield :haha:

I used the same stuff on the Raider. Pics are here of my Liner Xtreeme rolled on. Only issue I had with rolling it on was I was working too slow at first and when it started to set up I panicked and dumped a bunch on the bed trying to get it on there. So it clumped a bit. I retouched that section and finished the job with the other can I had and it came out pretty good. A little bit more glossy than I initially wanted but thats because I didnt use all the crumb that they sent me. Next time, on the K5 I'll definitely spray it on vs rolling it on.:pimp:

Im really on the fence about whether Im going to bed line the trooper or not. It was good on the chevy but the herculiner stained bad from clay colored mud. Maybe I need to top coat it with some rustoleum?

I want to do something insulating to the truck since Im going to be running just rubber floor mats up front. I dont want no insulation getting soaked if I ever get water in the cab.

If you have the time and extra buck$, I'd do a spray on liner like Duelings. I did a spray on liner in my last truck bed and it looked the same way as his, very clean and uniform coverage. If I ever do the interior in my rig, I'll be putting in the extra effort for spray on coverage. Have fun :D

Just do a spray on like the liner extreeme kit i used. You can just not mix in the rubber crumb and it will be smooth and not collect the dirt. It would wipe off easily.

You can get it with one. I took it off my order though cuz we have one. Just need an air conpressor with a regulator.

I was thinking about just doing the floor in rustoleum with a sponge applicator and priming them first to get it on thick. Maybe just do the floor wells with liner. Im not sure yet. Not really crazy about the idea of buying spray stuff.

Bring it over here. Ill spray it on free of charge. Then we can take it to the dunes :D

When you get the new one on of course

O Im painting this **** before hand. Actually I just yanked the bumper off with my dad so I can FINALLY cap the part of the body I trimmed open when I made the bumper. Thats next weekends plan. Cap body, remove glue from old molding, little body work and herculine below the fender body line.
