DIY4X customizable rock sliders!

If you want I'll get your mount brackets and adapt them to my suburban, I need to make rock sliders anyways. Getting the last mount mount might be tricky doesn't look like there are many places to mount it. The first two shouldn't be bad though.

I think I asked awhile back

Find my "I have a K5" thread in the garage. Just about every picture since late 2009 has them in it.
 
TREA18 has half a set on his.

Will be some youtube videos coming for them as well.

As I buy more and more from DIY I'm increasingly impressed with his customer service and quality of work so now to push Kurt on his engineering skills and bring up the subject of a set of these sliders for the early (73-76) K5's AGAIN. Lectric brought up the question of using the rear seat ledge and it was never adressed past that. I'm thinking a bracket could also be fabbed to replace the non existant body mount... What say you Kurt? What dimensions do you need to make this happen? My heart is set on these sliders so appease me and get the gears spinning in your head on how to make this work. My persistance prevents me from letting this die!:D

On finding a 73-77, unfortunately not. That is still the only thing preventing it. I've looked at a few but around here, its a 1976 vintage pile of rust.
