I'm going to get a DIY4X aluminum dash, but have a few questions for anyone who has one.

I'm working with Kert on the design, but I because of all my gauges I don't have much space on the main dash for switches (I'm using Carling Contura V switches). What do you think about mounting the switches on the lower, angled part of the dash? Has anyone done this? Would they be visible? Would you constantly activate them with your knees?

If you look at the additional images on DIY4X for the dash there is an example of what you are asking.

I haven't layed out my dash for switches yet due to they are all not going to be on the dash...hopefully none of them will but I have two 5" and 6 2 5/8" gauges layed out.

Still in progress....

First picture is mine and they are miles from danger. I can also see them easily enough while driving at night. The switches are green and orange. Green is for normal operation and orange is for something that should be on temporarily (high beams, rock lights, etc). Kert did the panel for me.
