DLE for ORD's x-over pitman arm.

I searched and was extremely surprised nobody had mentioned this before.
an ES2147RL (used on dodge vans) will fit the pitman arm ,that ORD sells for their x-over kits, w/o reaming and it's the same thread (7/8-18) as the gm's.
am I the only one that's used an es2147 at the pitman arm.

DLE's are weak, use TRE's.

well, es2026 and es2027 are DLE's and they get used all the time. are those considered weak?
as I understand it a draglink goes from the pitman arm to steering arm and tie-rod goes from one knuckle to the other.
