Dmax in a 72 blazer

it was a fun project, started with a 300.00 ex forest service truck, that was a good non rusty roller, the truck originally had a inline 6, 3/4 ton, long bed on leaf springs. I got it, did custom motor mounts, put a big block, t-400 set up, cut the frame, swapped a coil/trailing arm rear suspension with adjustable track bar and drop coils then a 12 bolt rear. Up front I used new coils, and drop spindles and converted the truck to 5 lug. Boxed the whole frame, moved the brake booster and cylender down on the frame, used a 69-71 k5 tank in the back. Capped the body where I cut it, gutted the doors, capped the hoes where the windows used to come up through. In the interior I smoothed out the dash holes, door holes and cleaned it up. redid the gages and kept the original stereo and added some 2002 escalade full power seats.

got to drive it, kill a rear axle, a u-joint or two and tranny then sold it:doah:

Seriously though, I like the 69 style body lines on the hood in that one pic. I'd like to get one of those.
