Dmax in a 72 blazer

Seriously dude you can put a dmax in an old k5 but can't figure out how to use photobucket:rolleyes:

Its a pain in the ass cause im allways doing something and waiting to upload pics to slobucket aint one of them =)
Im gonna go take more pics today and tr to make a vid of it running:D

So, how did you do that? Did you use dodge case that was mated to a NV4500?
I heard the dodge NV4500 and the Allison is both 29 spline.
If not, I would like to see what you did. BTW, I don't have a facebook account. I can't see your latest progress pictures.

hey madspeed - to post a pic from facebook directly into your post, do the following:

right click on your image and select "copy image location". then do one of two things: 1. click on the little icon next to the text options (bold, italic, underline, etc) that looks like a little yellow box with mountains and a sun. Then right click and paste the copied image location link into the pop-up and hit "ok." OR type like the following:

and your image should pop right up. i'll help you out in this post with a few pics from your photobucket...

You can use a GM or dodge pass drop case or a ford driver drop case. I used the ford as the Dmax has everything moved over to the right to clear the shaft allready. The trick it to use the 91 ish dodge manual trans input and coupler, Its a little sloppy on the ally but Ive heard no complaints form a couple I know that have done it. All gm cases non TH400 have a small input bearing though so you'd have to macine the case for the large bearing. the allison bolt pattern is one hole off from the exact fit to a ford tcase, late gm 205, 79 ford 205 and many others, you could buy both gaskets like I did and start to work or my machinest still has the dimensions I bet he could cook another up for about 550 the aluminum is Spendy and he thinks is time is gold, another machinest wanted 850.

Colby You are THE MAN thanks for posting some good pics. I unfortunatly am unemployed atm so I still cant afford to pay membership here. Im living of neighbors wanting car repair atm, so far Im scarping by and when I have a min or two I play with the MaxBlaze project. as of now we need this to at least get street worthy

The tow haul button will make the haul ass light come on.
I have EFI Live so I can put selectable 5 tune setup that would allso light that lamp as well. Its there so I can wire it to whatever I want to but hmm N2o :rolleyes: Nahh Ive got a twin turboed Dmax for that allready in the works but stalled for money. Ill shoot some pics of it and its headers Im building too. for now drool on my slo ass 05 Dmax @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Wu5znBYqHc Its got a Tune from Bobo, oher than that its a stock turbo stock injectors and stock CP3
