I've never put much thought in to this because I figured my 4" lift springs are pretty stiff. This week end I was in a comp with all uphill steep climbs. My truck bounced all day. I'm not sure if I should leave it or upgrade. I did well but I bounced through all the climbs. Nothing broke but I think I was lucky after watching all the vids. Heres some of the bouncing. Specs of my truck are in my sig and I have Rancho 5000's leaning back in the front on tall towers and DIY's inboard shock kit in the back behind the axle.

Umm ya...you are gonna break if you keep that up.

Moving your rear shocks back to the stock locations would help a ton I would think. Inboarding your rear shocks makes them very ineffective.

I didn't see the front bounce a whole lot in that vid, so I think you are ok there. I would try moving the rear shocks outward first. If that does not help as much as you want then I would go with a traction bar.

Ya I see what your sayin about the inboarded shocks. Stock location won't work for me. I need more travel but I could extend them in to the box or move them more foreward and more back. I've had this truck built and wheelin for a while but never run this kind of uphill pedal down sorta stuff with it. Usually More tight technical flexin stuff.

Holy crap that's some good clean living right there. I'd have broke at least three things if i bounced like that!

Get an anti-wrap bar or link the rear, your hop is definitely caused by spring wrap.

Ya I might make my own anti wrap bar or buy the wraptor. Just wasn't sure if it is spring wrap or if it's normal on our rigs. Most here run smaller rigs.

looks like u had a bunch of fun!

yea definitely need a trac/antiwrap bar
