Well my dad and i have been working like crazy on my k5, which is cool, but it kind of put his ride on the back burner for a while. This last weekend i went home from school intending to install my hydro assist and bleed the brakes on my K5, but i saw my dad's stang still chilling on stiff arms still awaiting its new disc brakes, and it was like that a month ago. So i told him that we could do his car instead of mine. Anyways we have one little line left to bend and then its off to bleeding the system in it, but it looks sooooo much better now with 4 wheel discs instead of the old drums. Here are some pics

next on the-to-do list is to install the nos fogger system that has been sitting in boxes for about 2 years now..lol

Wrenching with your dad must be cool, thats one sweet looking ride:D. Scenery from the homestead aint to shabby either:bow:.

thanks man, ya my pops and i are pretty close so it is always cool to get some good old wrenching time in with him. As for the scenery, i definitely love it, just on the other side of those mountains in the pics with the dodge truck is the rubicon trail and lake tahoe, which makes life even better to have a cool wheeling spot and a nice lake with lots of hotties near by..lol

Nice lookin Stang. We need more mustangs on this site. Is it a 65?
I have been wanting to do a disk brake rear conversion on mine. But havent got around to it yet. Already have front disks.

Damn....The view from your place looks like home to me. ( hmm... does that remind you of a song?) I have spent a lot of time wheelin and riding dirt bikes up in the Pinenuts. Done the con a few times too........ A long time ago in the early 70s........ Before it was cool.
I grew up in your side of our great state.

Nice stang! I was looking at the pics and it reminded me of home so I looked at your location and figured out why haha. I miss NV, born and raised. I was born in Lovelock, lived in Yerington for 15 years and G-ville for 3. I wish I could get stationed out there but the only base is in Fallon. I've only been back twice in the last 5 years, and those were for funerals:(. When I transfer to Oklahoma this summer, I get 30+ transfer/house hunting days of leave. So a roadtrip back is on the books:D
