Long story short, I toasted my drive shaft and when I got it back with new ears, there were new U-Joints...they are spicers, but don't have zerk fittings in them, they are the sealed type. Seeing as how I have never used these before I wanted to get some feedback.

sealed type are fine, i don't have much experince with the dana joints but where i work at aam all of our joints are sealed and they are very durable and a lot stronger than the greasables

lots of info on both sides of the fence.

long story short . a good prem true non greasable like what you got will last longer than a greasable joint. stronger cross and much harder for crap to get in past seals.

Interesting, thanks for the feedback, if anything interesting pops up, I'll post up.

in practice, i haven't seen much difference. but, in theory, the non-greasable kind should be stronger since there is more metal there.

Brute force are really good solid u-joints, cheaper than spicer too. made by Naepco.
