It has been brought to my attention that dropped drag links are not the best way to go, in order to correct the increased drag link offset created by lifting a vehicle. I have a 1-ton truck with a Dana 60, 4" of lift, and a 4" drop drag link. I need some ideas on what way I should go about loosing the dropped drag link, and where I can purchase the parts needed to replace it?
It has already been suggested to go with a raised steering block, and or a combination of dropped pitman arm and a steering block. I have shopped around the usual places on the Internet for a dropped pitman arm, but I could not find any for a Dana 60...only 12 bolts and Dana 44. Does anybody know of a good source for a dropped pitman arm, or raised steering block for a Dana 60?
