We have been having awesome mild weather and today I couldn't resist anymore. I was out tinkering and making a list of stuff that needs fixed, finished, and bought. I got a bucket to climb up on and hopped in (I am not supposed to pick up any thing more than 15# for another month) normally I throw a leg in and grab the cage and pull myself up.

Anyway it fires right up, hasn't been started sense end of Oct, and so I go for a spin. After making the flat spotted boggers round again it was running pretty nice. When I pulled back up to my bucket I had an idea.

Went and grabbed a kid and off we went to go for a cruise and run some errands. I can hop out fine but getting back in I would use the 5 gal bucket and then have Stella pick it up and throw it in the back and then she would climb in.

It was an awesome day back in the Jimmy!:D

Good for you. Jimmy's are good for the soul, I get kind of cranky if I don't drive mine once a week or so.

That's great Bear! Glad to hear you're doing well. Driving the Jimmy should be required therapy.

I can pick up anything I want!

So today was the first day of no more limits on what I can do. Ribcage is all mended, Arteries are healed and attached, so no more weight restrictions.

So having gone about a year with a sunk float in the tank I decided to tackle that first. I figured I had at most a couple gallons of gas in the tank, it was more like 9 or 10.

I get the tank down and pop the sending unit and yank the float, witch can't be found anywhere, I call Bigbadchev84 and he tells me the replacement is a Ford dealer only part and he'll text me the part # when he gets back home. Meanwhile my crazy neighbor walks over to see what I'm doing. I'm kinda agravated that "Red" is over here and being crazy annoying self, but I'm trying really hard to be nicer, to everyone, so I explain to Red what I'm doing and show him the float and how some 8 year-old Taiwanese kid didn't solder it very well and it filled with gas. Red wanders off and comes right back with a little baggy. It was in the kitchen drawer he tells me, and there in a Ford parts bag is a copper float that fits perfectly. I insist he take $10

About 20 minutes later I get a text from Bigbadchev84 and the numbers match, it's the exact float I need.:wink1:

Crazy Red comes through, I guess he is good for more than just routering 20 hours a day, and building high end lattice:haha:

Now get to work on wiring up that electric fan controller, Im tired of hearing about the coolest manual fan switch you ordered.:eek1:

after seeing the specs on that switch I'm not sure I want to ride in that K5 again...it brings new meaning to the phrase, "Chef's Jimmy"!

OMGoodness that is too funny! And I'm glad you copyrighted it because - well who knows where else it will show up.

Thanks for the laugh...
