what is the difference between the two of these subs. Is one better than the other. each of the dual voice coils will get one channel of input from a 4 channel amp. any help would be great.

    Dual 2ohms:

    Series wiring = 4 ohms
    Parallel wiring = 1 ohm

    Dual 4 ohms:

    Series wiring = 8 ohms
    Parallel wiring = 2 ohms

Kinda comes down to what your amp can support..... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Of course if your running the coils in "stereo" off two channels....then the ohm rating is just as you stated, and still needs to be matched to the amp driving them.....
