:eek1: Does anybody have a Dual Cardan rear d-shaft out of a I hate to say it F_O_R_D Excursion, F250,350,450, or 550. Or know where I could get one? All I need is the Dual Cardan joint. I have an idea!!!:hack:

You need the front driveshaft, not the rear. The front is the one with the CV.

I suggest ebay (I looked none currently listed) or www.car-part.com Search for a front driveshaft from a 99-03 4wd f250 or f350.

Several members here have built a driveshaft from these. Search here, there should be several threads about it.

I know the front has one also. But I am in fact looking for the rear shaft. I looked it up in the ford disassembly manual. I said the same thing when my buddy told me about the rear one. But in fact some of the rear shafts do come with dual cardans. I have forund a couple on ebay, but none of the junkyards will send me a pic of the actual shaft for sale. They all show the same pic for every shaft they have for sale.

If you are just going to chop it to make it fit, why would it matter if it were a front or rear? At least you know that all front superduty driveshaft's have the cv.
