Dual exhaust setup Dynomax kit

I used that kit for both my k10 and k5 when I still had it. Worked fine, fit fine

When I re-did the truck I bought pieces and fit everything the way I wanted it

Do you have a pipe bender? How difficult was it to fit the custom exhaust?

I do not have a bender, bought a bunch of pre bent sections. It is a bit of a trick to get the layout the way you want

I use zip ties as a cut marker on the pipe. Sharpie, the use a small screwdriver to flip the release so you can re use them
Use arrow marks on each pipe for alignment

I also use v bands at the seams, so I had sections that I could assemble. Did most of the weld work on the bench

Made mine too, same way as Bent. Not sure who sells the kits with multiple bends and what not now, when I bought them I got a box full of blemished 3" steel stuff of various bends to weld up, test fit, and use as my template for doing a stainless setup. That was probably only 10 years ago. It's still under the truck lol.

I did notice this last time that the one exhaust band clamp (this style https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bdd-1100731) I used started to leak, probably from the pipe rusting.

It was only temporary (lol), V-band clamps IMO are the way to go. Being able to drop the exhaust (depending on how routed) without removing the crossmember or muffler-back (for instance) has value to me.

I used it. Would have worked fine but the 4l80e pushed everything just far enough back that I couldn’t make the mid pipes work. So I just used the tail pipe section. The kit is well laid out and fit fine on the ground.
Were you able to use the factory mount locations for the pipes?

This is what I did for my burb.
Then just picked mufflers

Any good exhaust shop should be able to duplicate something like that.
