I drove out to Idaho last weekend and picked up this truck with every intention of just parting it out but it turned out to be way to nice for that.
Well I had a job running on my machine that allowed me some time in between parts and it was like 40 degrees outside so I pulled the wheels of my step van and put them on the dually to see how'd it look, well I like it and the van had brand new tires.
The tires that were on dually are like brand new Michelins so I put them on ksl for 500.00 and I think I got them sold for 400 already:D and I paid 800.00 for the truck so that puts it at 400.00:woot:

Truck runs good and is in great shape considering it's age
Not sure why I'm keeping it but I'm gonna use it a while and see how it goes:dunno:

how bout some specs David?

Diesel 6.2 th400/205 D60 fr D70 rr.
I figured he would sell for $800, but it was too far for me to go get it.
Dave told me about it first knwing I am looking for a diesel 1 ton.
I had to pass so I can buy the one local to me yesterday, which actually was a crew cab so it was better for me.

And Dave, it looks awesome, I was going to say they look awfull and I will :haha:take them off your hands, but I know I can't afford them.

So your van doesn't have wheels and tires now? lol

Well actually I pulled the rear hubs and sold them for 100 bones:D put some standard hubs back on with some roller tires/wheels that are all flat so it's way easier to get into now:waytogo:

I like the overall view of it but for some reason, the wheels are sticking out like a sore thumb. It needs paint. Maybe the top color of the 2 tone?

What color is your rig? Charcoal and black? Wheels would look good if they were charcoal.

Yeah but even the stockers were white.
I plan on painting them black and the truck silver but not until the Blazer is up and running.

Can I put manual window cranks on a power window equipped door?? Are the mounting holes already there??
Also delete with power door lock device. I have a nice door from a cucv with all the parts just don't want to have to repaint the doors if I don't have to.
How does painting the plastic door panel hold up over time?? Thinking of painting the cucv ones black to match.

I want to put a good 44 up front so I can sell the 60 for 900.00 but is there a cheap way to run the dually wheels on a 8 lug 44??

first off dont sell the dana 60 its not worth it in the end and still run drw stuff.

here is around the only option i now of. but thay run metric studs. so you would have to swap them to american. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=273916

and if i recall the 44/10 bolt are a narrower axle than the 60 .

This is interesting but you may be right, I found a local Chevy 44 with new ball joints and hubs in 4.10 for 75.00 and with your adapters that puts it at 225.00
I could also be high thinking I can get 900.00 for that 60, thats what I get for srw 60s so a drw 60 may only be at 700.00 so that is only a 475.00 profit at that point:dunno:
Probably not worth the labor.

loose biggest brakes / non ball joints / big u-joints n axles / and the fact its a clean orignal driveline with 60 still and the hastle of swapin all around just run the 60.
