Just ordered my lift for the crew cab, and was hoping I can fit 315/75/r16 on the stock rims. Anybody have any experience or advise? thanx scotto:confused:
Also what size spacer for the rears would I need?

well you would be better off with 8" wide rims over the stock 6" .

then stockers with 255/85/16 have little to no room in the middle.

then spacers would work. but i dont like them as thay dont hub center the hub centric dually rims. big time vib or balence issues here if not right.

and if c&c duelly axle no real room for sidewall to springs with that size tire.

it all can be done but p.i.t.a and $$$$$

I have a friend thats running them on a tow truck. He built the spacers himself and believes tha they were only about 3/4 of an inch thick.

not sure of the size but i have co-op 900 mudders on duals.. on a tape they are 36 inches tall and about 10 inches wide. i had to make spacers out of 1 inch thick plate to clear and i bought some special wide trailer rims. also i cut the springs off the truck and relocated them under the frame rails. but keep in mind i have a 1983 1ton cab and chassis rear end its narrower than normal

My friends dually. 6" procomp lift. 35" BFG A/Ts stock rims. Duramax Allison, 3/4" spacer between duals no problem daily driver................

Its no longer in existance, but it had a 12v cummins NV4500, and it also sat on dualled 35" BFGs.

:(that truck is no longer in existence? I think I might cry . . . that's my dream config!! What happened to it?

The entire drive train was commandeered for another truck, I don't know what happened to the body and frame.
